Publication Model
Starting from 2025, Journal of Enterprise and Development (JED) uses a continuous publication model divided into 3 issues per year. This publication model permits faster publication of the articles that no longer need to wait for the issue to be completed and allowing the authors to see their work published as soon as possible (source). When articles are accepted, they will be published online, appearing in sequential order of publication. This offers significant benefits to readers who will have rapid access to final versions of articles, and for authors, it means a reduced time for the final versions of their articles to be published (source). This change will not impact formal procedures of publication in a journal. We still apply strict editorial screening and review process to manuscripts submitted to the journal.
Each issue using a continuous publication model will include a maximum of 20 articles.
Issue 1 includes accepted articles during 1 January - 30 April
Issue 2 includes accepted articles during 1 May - 31 August
Issue 3 includes accepted articles during 1 September - 31 December
What if Issue 1 has included 20 articles, but there are still accepted articles for publication?
The accepted articles need to wait for Issue 2 to open, and they will be scheduled for publication in this issue.
