Abstract

This study is motivated by the researchers' attention to the review of buying and selling in the mega diamond event in the pubg mobile game which is focused on UIN Mataram students. Where researchers aim to analyze the legal aspects of the Mega Diamond event transaction in the PUBG Mobile game. The Mega Diamond event gives players the opportunity to get UC (Unknown Cash) by guessing numbers, which this mechanism has similarities to gambling practices such as Togel. Where, practices like this can cause problems related to gambling or losses that will be suffered by players.

This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method conducted on UIN Mataram students. Data was collected through interviews and review of relevant literature. The focus of the research is to assess how civil law views the practice of buying and selling in this event, as well as its impact on UIN Mataram students who participate in the event.

The results showed that the transactions in the Mega Diamond event embraced a lot of manipulation, uncertainty and high speculation in the number buying system in the event and made it similar to gambling so that it would have an impact on the players in this case the disadvantaged party. This research is also expected to contribute to the development of students' understanding of the importance of complying with or limiting negative things that can harm themselves and others.
