Focus and Scope
The journal focus and scope of Politea : Jurnal of Islamic Political Studies is to publish research articles within the field of an advanced understanding of how politics and governance studies, particularly discusses local politics issues as well as ethical politics in governance implementation through political discourse. The scope research based paper on the interactions between politics and governance, national and local election; politics and local policy; political thought and ethics.

Peer Review Process
The journal uses blind system for peer-review; both reviewers and authors identities remain anonymous. The paper will be peer-reviewed by at least two experts; one or more reviewers from outside and one editor from the journal typically involve in reviewing a submission.
Publication Frequency
Published twice a year.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilises the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Regarding prior publication, we understand that authors and institutions appreciate clarity on publisher policies on prior publication and how these might sit alongside institutional requirements for authors to deposit their e-theses.
To avoid any doubt, Politea Journal Review does not count publication of an academic thesis as prior publication.
