Gender Equality is the equality of conditions for men and women to obtain opportunities and rights as human beings, to be able to play a role and participate in political, economic, socio-cultural, defense activities and equality in enjoying the results of development. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the distribution of rights to pursue education and work in Sangiang Village. Using qualitative research methods with data collection methods using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study are that in obtaining the right to pursue education and work between men and women they have received their rights, but when they have received these rights, they are differentiated between men and women, where men will be supported and free to choose to pursue education and work while women are limited in their movement even though they have received their rights.
