Jurnal Pariwisata Nusantara (JUWITA) is a peer-reviewed journal that aims to advance the academic and practical understanding of tourism through the publication of high-quality research articles. The journal provides a platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to share their insights and findings related to the development and management of tourism at local, national, and international levels.

JUWITA welcomes original research using either quantitative or qualitative methods, as well as in-depth case studies focusing on specific destinations, events, communities, or tourism phenomena that contribute to broader discussions in the field. Interdisciplinary approaches and innovative perspectives are strongly encouraged.

The scope of the journal covers, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Travel and Tourism: tourism planning, destination development, tourism marketing, tourist behavior, sustainable tourism, and related policy issues.

  • Hospitality and Leisure: hotel and resort management, food and beverage, recreation, events, and wellness tourism.

  • Pilgrimage and Religious Tourism: spiritual travel, religious site management, cultural heritage, and socio-economic impacts of faith-based tourism.

Through the dissemination of scholarly work, JUWITA seeks to support evidence-based practices and foster critical dialogue on tourism development in Indonesia and beyond.
