Tradisi islam menahbiskan manusia sebagai pemelihara bumi (khalifah fil 'ardh) yang diciptakan dalam sebaik-baik bentuk (ahsan al-taqwiim). Dalam perjalanannya, dinamika sosial memberikan tantangan tersendiri dalam menguji sejauh mana pemahaman teologis bisa berdampak kepada kesalehan sosial. Kesalehan sosial adalah bentuk ekspresi keagamaan yang didasarkan pada universal value yang terkandung dalam ajaran islam.

Jurnal Sophist ( P-ISSN : 2656-1220) is an open-access journal with peer-reviewed principles published twice a year (June and December) by The Faculty of Usuluddin and Religious Studies, Islamic State University of Mataram. Sophist offering a new paradigm for rebuilding the relation between science and religion.
