Tahiro seeks high-quality submissions that explore theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented research in religious moderation, pluralism, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding. We welcome interdisciplinary work from scholars, practitioners, and experts worldwide.

Scope & Thematic Focus

Tahiro welcomes manuscripts that address, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  • Religious moderation, tolerance, and multiculturalism
  • Interfaith dialogue and pluralism studies
  • Advocacy and policy responses to religiously-inflected social conflicts
  • Conflict resolution, mediation, and restorative justice
  • Peacebuilding practices across education, law, politics, and civil society
  • Comparative and interdisciplinary approaches to religion and peace
  • Local wisdom, indigenous practices, and community-based moderation

Author Guidelines (summary)

  • Submit original, unpublished manuscripts not under review elsewhere.
  • Word length: 5,000–8,000 words (empirical); 3,000–5,000 words (conceptual/review).
  • Manuscripts must follow the journal template and citation style. (See full guidelines on the website.)
  • All submissions will be processed via double-blind peer review.

Please prepare your manuscript according to the guidelines and submit through our OJS portal.

  • Deadline for June Issue: April 30
  • Deadline for December Issue: October 31
  • Notification of Acceptance: Typically within 4–6 weeks after submission
  • Publication: June & December
