TAHIRO: Journal of Peace and Religious Moderation is a peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually (June and December) by the Rumah Moderasi Beragama (RMB), Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram (UIN Mataram). The journal welcomes high-quality conceptual papers, empirical research, case studies, and policy analyses that advance scholarly knowledge and practical engagement in the fields of religious moderation and peace studies. It prioritizes research on religious moderation, pluralism, advocacy in socially and religiously nuanced conflicts, conflict resolution, peacebuilding across interdisciplinary approaches, as well as Religious Studies and Islamic Law. By fostering rigorous academic dialogue and interdisciplinary collaboration, TAHIRO aims to promote the development of tolerant, equitable, and harmonious interreligious relations, and actively encourages contributions from academics, researchers, and practitioners from diverse fields aligned with its scope.
We are calling for papers for publication in Vol. 3, No. 1, 2026. Before submitting manuscripts, authors need to ensure that they have adjusted it with our template (download here) . All manuscripts that do not adhere to our template will be automatically rejected.
