Peer Review Process

After an article passes the plagiarism check, each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers (double-blind) who are experts in the relevant scientific field. The decision to accept or reject the article will be discussed with the editorial board. Plagiarism checks are conducted using Turnitin.

Starting December 2025, the review process at TAHIRO will involve authors, editors, section editors, and reviewers. TAHIRO implements a double-blind and double-peer review model to maintain confidentiality. Each submitted manuscript will first be reviewed by an editor. If the article meets TAHIRO's focus, scope, and writing guidelines, it will be forwarded to reviewers to assess its content and originality. Otherwise, the manuscript will be returned to the author. Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers for approximately 3-4 weeks, using the manuscript evaluation criteria listed in the Article Evaluation Form for Reviewers. Submitted articles typically take an average of approximately 8 weeks to publish.
