POTENSI ANTI-INFLAMASI EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN COCOR BEBEK (Kalanchoe pinnata L) TERHADAP DENATURASI PROTEIN SECARA IN VITRO

Tanaman cocor bebek (Kalanchoe pinnata L) merupakan tanaman hias yang sering digunakan sebagai obat-obatan tradisional oleh masyarakat indonesia, tetapi kajian mengenai tanaman cocor bebek yang dapat digunakan sebagai obat anti-inflamasi masih sangat sedikit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas anti-inflamasi ekstrak etanol daun cocor bebek (Kalanchoe pinnata L) dengan menggunakan uji penghambatan denaturasi protein. Penelitian ini terdiri dari larutan uji ekstrak etanol daun cocor bebek (Kalanchoe pinnata L) dan natrium diklofenak sebagai kontrol positif. Nilai IC50 natrium diklofenak sebesar 3,46 µg/ mL. Sedangkan ekstrak etanol daun cocor bebek memiliki nilai IC50 sebesar 2,23 µg/ mL. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan daun cocor bebek memiliki aktivitas anti-inflamasi yang lebih baik dari kontrol positif natrium diklofenak.
