1. Aims & Scope
Edulangue: Journal of English Language Education (e-ISSN: 2622-8777) is scientific, peer-reviewed, and open access journal published biannually both in June and December by Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Mataram. This open-access journal aims to facilitate the dissemination of theoretically and practically based knowledge in the area of English language pedagogy, which comprises English language teaching and learning and assessment. It does not welcome any contribution pertinent to the realm of Linguistics and Literature. The Journal receives manuscripts, along with the adjacent fields of research that focus their attention on general and particular issues related to English Language pedagogy with the following foci:
- Moral, Cultural, and Religious values in ELT context.
- Technology for English language teaching and learning.
- Second language assessment.
- English for Specific Purposes, and etc.
Recent Award: Edulangue: Journal of English Language Education (ISSN: 2622-8777) has been successfully evaluated by ICI Journals Master List 2019 with calculated ICV 2019 = 72.12 Index Copernicus Value (ICV) for 2019, whose passport can be accessed here.

» Section Policies
The published articles are open submission, indexed and peer-reviewed
» Open Access Policy
Edulangue is an open access journal in that all articles published are made publically free for the sake of wider global dissemination of knowledge exchange
» Plagiarism Check
All the submitted papers will go through a plagiarism check, using Turnitin prior to being proceeded to the reviewers. Any articles containing plagiarized texts will be rejected and will not be published. In case of 20% detected plagiarized texts, the article will be returned to the respective author for revision on the parts
» Peer Review Process
Each submitted article is independently reviewed by at least two peer-reviewers (Double Blind). The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. After being reviewed, there will be four kinds of editor decision based on reviewers’ recommendation:
- Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revisions.
- Revisions Required: The submission will be accepted after minor changes have been made.
- Resubmit for Review: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, may be accepted. It will require a second round of review, however.
- Decline Submission: The submission will not be published in the journal.
» Article Revision
The returned articles should be sent to the editor on time. If it is returned later than 20 days, it will be considered as a new submission. The revised article can be sent to the editorial team through the Online Submission Interface
» Publication Fee
Edulangue does NOT receive any PUBLICATION FEE. The selection of the articles to be published is highly dependent on the quality.
» Withdrawal of Articles
The author will not be permitted to withdraw their submitted article after it has been reviewed. In this case, IDR 500.000 fine will be directed to the author inasmuch as the editors and reviewers have spent a great deal of time processing the submitted article. Withdrawal will only be permitted if the amount of fine has been fully paid to the publisher. Unless paid, the authors will be blacklisted, and Edulangue authorities will get rid of all his or her previous published articles in the Journal.

All published articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

6. Journal History
Edulangue: Journal of English Language Education is the extension of JETELL (Journal of English Teaching, Linguistics, and Literature), whose OJS faced a technical issue that it can no longer be accessed. JETELL had published two issues in 2017 prior to its closure. Nonetheless, the shift from JETELL to Edulangue is not only related to the technical issue, but also it relates to the scope of the journal. The initial scope covered the area of Linguistics and Literature.
