Reviewers
Since ENTRIES: Journal of Entrepreneurship Studies applies a double-blind review process, disclosing reviewers' identities on the journal website would be unethical, as it compromises the confidentiality essential to maintaining an objective and unbiased evaluation. In a double-blind system, both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to prevent favoritism, conflicts of interest, and undue influence, ensuring that manuscript assessments are based solely on scholarly merit. Revealing reviewer identities could discourage experts from participating due to concerns about potential backlash or pressure from authors, ultimately weakening the integrity of the peer review process. While some journals acknowledge reviewers in aggregate without linking them to specific articles, ENTRIES: Journal of Entrepreneurship Studies must uphold strict anonymity to preserve the fairness and credibility of its review system.
