THE EFFECT OF EMPLOYEE RECRUITMENT AND PLACEMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT BANK MEGA SYARIAH MATARAM BRANCH OFFICE

The company realizes that human resources are the basic capital to achieve the company's goals, including in the banking sector. Company management must be able to understand the best way to manage its employees so that it has an impact on improving its performance. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of recruitment and placement of employees on employee performance at PT Bank Mega Syariah Mataram Branch Office. This study uses a quantitative research type with an associative approach. The population used in this study were all employees of Bank Mega Syariah Mataram Branch Office totaling 40 respondents and the sample used in this study was 40 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire method and to test the validity of the data was carried out with validity and reliability tests. The next data analysis technique was carried out with the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, coefficient of determination test, T test and F test. The results of this study are: 1) Recruitment has a significant effect on employee performance with a t valuecount2,899 > ttable 2.026 and a significant value of 0.006 < 0.05. This means that recruitment has a partial significant effect. 2) Employee placement does not significantly affect employee performance with a t-value ofcount 1.373 < ttable 2.026 and a significant value of 0.178 > 0.05. This means that employee placement has no significant effect on employee performance. 3) Employee recruitment and placement significantly influence employee performance, as indicated by the large F value.count33,971 > Ftable3.252. This means that simultaneous recruitment and placement of employees have a significant impact.
