DA’WAH MANAGEMENT MYBINJAI IN PROTECTING THE YOUNG GENERATION FROM PROMISCUITY

Abstract

This study examines the da’wah management carried out by the Islamic youth organization MyBinjai in its efforts to protect the youth of Binjai City from the widespread issue of free association in the digital era. The primary aim of the research is to understand the strategies, organizational structure, and character and spiritual development methods implemented to support the moral growth of high school students in the region. The study employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis of MyBinjai’s activities. The findings reveal that MyBinjai applies a systematic and structured da’wah management through specialized departments that oversee ongoing religious mentoring programs and also develop students’ soft skills to ensure holistic guidance. The organization has succeeded in creating a significant positive impact by enhancing the religious and moral atmosphere among students, gaining support from schools and parents. Despite facing challenges such as limited resources and the need to adapt da’wah methods to the characteristics of the digital generation, MyBinjai continuously innovates to maintain the relevance and effectiveness of its programs. This study underscores the importance of adaptive and well-planned da’wah management in fostering a spiritually and morally strong young generation amid the rapid changes of the times.
