About El-Tsaqafah
El-Tsaqafah : Jurnal Jurusan PBA is a periodical published twice a year (April and October) with ISSN (e) 2655-7746, (p) 2087-3638. El-Tsaqafah : Jurnal Jurusan PBA is one of the alternative journals to publish scientific articles on the results of studies, research reports, seminars and others related to Arabic language learning, linguistic, and education. This journal was published in collaboration with the Ittihad Mudarrisii al-Lughah Al-Arabiyyah Institute (IMLA). This Journal also has been nationally accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Sinta).
Focus and Scope
El-Tsaqafah : Jurnal Jurusan PBA published by FTK Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram. El-Tsaqafah : Jurnal Jurusan PBA welcomes high-quality manuscripts resulted from a research project in the scope of Arabic language learning, linguistic, and education, which includes, but is not limited to the following topics:
Arabic Language Learning
1. The journal receives the results of research on Arabic teaching and learning
2. Design or Development Research in Arabic teaching and learning. includes of validation studies or development studies in Arabic teaching and learning, with a comprehensive description and analysis of each stage.
Linguistics:
1. Mikrolinguistics: phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, lexicology
2. Makrolinguistics: sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, ethnographic linguistics, applied linguistics, language learning.
3. Results of research on language skills which include: listening, speaking, reading, and writing
Education:
1. Authors can submit their articles on the evaluation of the education system
2. ICT in Arabic language education. it consists of the application of ICT in Arabic learning and the design, development, and evaluation of the implementation or application of learning media.
Peer Review Process
» Peer Review Process
Every submitted article is independently reviewed by at least a double-blind review (two peer-reviewers). The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendations. After being reviewed, there will be four kinds of editor decision based on the reviewers’ recommendation:
- Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revisions.
- Revisions Required [Minor Revision]: The submission will be accepted after minor changes have been made.
- Resubmit for Review [Mayor Revision]: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, it may be accepted. It will require a second round of review, however.
- Decline Submission: The submission will not be published in the journal.
» Article Revision
The articles sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. The revised article returned later than 10 days will be considered as New Submissions. The revised article can be sent to the editorial through the Online Submission Interface.
Publication Frequency
This journal is published regularly twice a year, namely in April and October.

El-Tsaqafah : Jurnal Jurusan PBA is an open-access journal that provides immediate, worldwide, barrier-free access to the full text of all published articles without charge readers or their institutions for access. Readers have right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles in El-Tsaqafah : Jurnal Jurusan PBA. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
