Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetaui besarnya pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI (team assisted individualization) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kimia kelas X MIPA di SMA Negeri 3 Praya. Variabel penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI (Teams Assisted Individualization) (X) dan motivasi belajar (Y). Populasinya yaitu keseluruhan kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 3 Praya sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas X MIPA sebanyak 55 siswa, pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sampling total (jenuh). Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah angket dan teknik pengumpulan data adalah angket, dokumentasi dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik data dengan program SPSS 16 for windows. Dari hasil analisis product moment menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) r=0,391 yang berada pada interval (0,20-0,399) yang memiliki tingkat pengaruh rendah antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Melalui uji-t pada kolom signifikan menunjukkan bahwa nilai probabilitas 0,04< 0,05 dan nilai thitung 2,122 > ttabel sebesar 2,006. Hal ini berarti hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima yang menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar kimia siswa SMA Negeri 3 Praya.
