The latest issue of Tatsqif: Journal on Educational Thought and Research presents a diverse collection of studies authored/co-authored by researchers across countries including Indonesia, Nigeria, Libya, Australia, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Malaysia (7 countries). The articles cover a wide range of topics in education, reflecting both theoretical and practical perspectives. One study examines the correlation between students’ original school majors, academic achievement, major choice in SPAN, university study programs, and cumulative achievement index of high-achieving students at UIN Mataram, highlighting factors influencing academic success. Another research explores the use of digital technology to enhance cognitive and functional skills of learners with intellectual disabilities, demonstrating the potential of tech-based interventions for inclusive education. A separate study investigates the effectiveness of a project aimed at strengthening the Pancasila student profile at SMA N 11 Surabaya, providing insights into value-based education in Indonesian schools. Additionally, trends in Zoom-based learning in higher education are analyzed, focusing on character formation, challenges, opportunities, and implications of online teaching. Finally, EFL students’ perceptions and challenges in using self-recorded video (SRV) for speaking practice are examined, revealing both benefits and limitations of self-directed digital learning tools. Overall, the issue reflects global collaboration and innovative approaches to contemporary educational challenges.
