Peer Review Process

Articles submitted to this journal will go through 2 stages of review, namely pre-review and substance review. Pre-review of the article is conducted by the editorial team to see whether the article is in line with the focus and scope of the journal as well as the journal template. Plagiarism checks are carried out through searches on Google Scholar and Turnitin. Pre-review time is between 2-3 weeks. Substance review is conducted by at least 2 reviewers on a single-blind basis. Review time is between 3-4 weeks. In some extent, reviewers might request a re-review after the author has revised the article.

The decision for publication, revision, or rejection is based on their report or recommendation. There will be four types of editor decisions based on reviewer recommendations:

Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revision.

Revisions Required: Submissions will be accepted after minor changes have been made. Articles sent back to the author for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. Revised articles returned more than 20 days will be considered as new submissions. Revised articles can be submitted to editorial via the Online Submission system.

Resubmit for Review: Submissions must be reworked, but with significant changes, are acceptable. It will require a second round of review.

Decline Submission: Submission will not be published in the journal.

The decision whether or not to accept an article for publication is at the autority of the Chief Editor based on the recommendations of the reviewers. Articles that have been accepted and have been layout will be published in the In Progress number in the next number before the regular number is published on schedule so that they can be indexed and citable immediately.

If you wish to become a reviewer at Tatsqif Journal, please complete the online application form. You must include a description of your research specialization. We will register you as a reviewer and author with Tatsqif Journal within 3 working days. Your username and password will be sent to your email.

Articles published in Tatsqif Journal are reviewed by the Reviewers before being published. The decision whether or not to accept an article manuscript is made by the Chief Editor in the forum of the Board of Editors based on recommendations or comments from the Reviewers.

Plagiarism screening of manuscripts submitted to this journal is carried out with the help of Google Scholar, Grammarly and Turnitin.

Publication Frequency

This journal is published regularly twice a year in June and December.

Open Access Policy

Tatsqif Journal provides instant open access to its content by adhering to the principle that making research freely available to the public that will support a more global exchange of knowledge. Accepted articles will be available for free download from the Jurnal Tatsqif portal.

Archiving

The journal utilizes LOCKSS dan CLOCKKS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and allows those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and recovery purposes.

Author free of Charge

There is no charge for authors to submit, process, and publish articles. As an author, readers can read or download full-text journal articles for free. However, for authors or readers who wish to have a printed version of the journal, printing and shipping fees apply. Authors or readers must pay Rp. 100,000 for 2 copies. Shipping costs are according to location (check here for shipping costs).
