The present issue features scholarly articles from 3 countries—Indonesia, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom—covering a range of educational and interdisciplinary themes. The studies explore the relationship between Sasak’s local wisdom-based learning and students’ critical thinking skills, and the role of the School Literacy Movement (SLM) in enhancing students’ reading interest through a literature review approach. Another paper examines teachers’ and students’ perceptions of AI writing correction tools, highlighting emerging technological influences in education. Additionally, one article discusses the reinterpretation of ecological verses to promote eco-ethics in Islamic education, emphasizing sustainability and moral responsibility. The issue also includes a study on the impact of parents’ educational background on students’ academic performance in Islamic boarding schools, and an investigation into undergraduates’ preparedness in facing online learning challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing valuable insights into contemporary educational dynamics.
